The website OPIDIN for the forecast of the maximum flood peak and the inundations in the Inner Niger Delta is renewed and operational since August 1th. The content of the website is similar to the former OPIDIN site, with a flood forecast and a flood viewer. The Section on Rainfall offers a quick view on the current rainy season, with a forecast for the coming weeks but also with a cumulative overview of the current season, in a summarising graph and maps. As in former years, there will be a weekly bulletin with the prediction of the flood this season. Have a look a the new site!
